National Anthem Performers are Announced For 2013 CWS

Seventeen finalists have been selected to perform the National Anthem during the 2013 NCAA® Men’s College World Series® at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha. The finalists were chosen from selected contestants who auditioned live at the stadium on April 6. Each finalist will have the opportunity to perform before an average of more than 20,000 fans who typically attend each College World Series game.

Advance Tickets Go on Sale Saturday, April 13 For 2013 CWS

Approximately 12,000 reserved seat tickets for the 2013 NCAA® College World Series® (CWS) will be available for sale this Saturday, April 13, at 10 a.m. Central Time, according to Carol Foreman, ticket manager of CWS of Omaha, Inc. The sale will be open to the general public at NCAA.com/CWStickets or by calling (866)208-0048. Tickets for fans who require Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) seating options also will be available using these same options.

Volunteer Opportunities

College World Series of Omaha, Inc., is looking for volunteers for the 2013 Men’s College World Series® at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha. CWS of Omaha, Inc., volunteers are asked to work in the NCAA® Fan Festival area located in Lot C or as part of the Ambassador Program, which provides information to fans outside the stadium.

Season Ticket Holder Parking Sold Out

College World Series of Omaha, Inc., today announced that reserved parking for season-ticket holders in Lot D has sold out. There will be other parking options for all fans wishing to attend the CWS near TD Ameritrade Park Omaha. In addition to parking at the stadium, fans will be able to use City of Omaha facilities, Creighton University or utilize any of Metro’s shuttle options. CWS, Inc., Announces Charitable Contributions for 2013

College World Series of Omaha, Inc. (CWS, Inc.), the local non-profit organizing committee that hosts the annual NCAA Division I Men's College World Series, has approved contributions of more than $82,000 to area baseball and sports organizations, according to CWS, Inc., Chairman, Jack Diesing, Jr. “This latest contribution brings the program’s overall total since 1973 to $3,829,338,” Diesing reported.

The 2013 NCAA Men's College World Series will begin with Opening Celebration Day on Friday, June 14. Games will begin Saturday, June 15, and continue through Tuesday/Wednesday, June 25/26.
