Flash Seats Paperless Ticketing Platform is Back for 2012
The NCAA® is offering an official technology platform through which Men’s College World Series® (CWS) season-ticket holders can safely sell tickets that would otherwise go unused. Throughout the 2012 NCAA Men’s College World Series, season-ticket holders may sell or transfer their reserved seats to friends, family members or other buyers through Flash Seats®, which is endorsed by the NCAA and supported by Veritix®.
General Admission Tickets on Sale Now for 2012 NCAA CWS
The sale of general admission (GA) seat tickets for the 2012 NCAA® Division I Men’s College World Series® (CWS) has begun. GA tickets, costing $80 per book of 10 tickets, are available online through the NCAA, from area service clubs, at all Hy-Vee supermarket customer service counters, as well as the CenturyLink Center Omaha box office and other locations throughout the metro Omaha area.
Volunteer Opportunities
College World Series of Omaha, Inc. is looking for volunteers for the
2012 Men’s College World Series at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha. CWS of
Omaha, Inc., volunteers will work in the Fan Fest area outside of
the stadium. These positions oversee each of the NCAA’s fan interactive
areas, such as home run derby or speed pitching as well as the
information booth.
2012 Ticket Information
Information for purchasing tickets to the 2012 College World Series is now available through the NCAA. There are a number of options for purchasing single-game reserved tickets for this year's CWS. Season-Ticket Holder Parking Sold Out
College World Series of Omaha, Inc., today announced that reserved parking for season-ticket holders in Lot D has sold out. There will be other parking options for all fans wishing to attend the CWS near TD Ameritrade Park Omaha.
2012 College World Series will Host Opening Ceremonies on Thursday, Games Begin Friday
The 2012 NCAA Men's College World Series will begin play one day earlier than it recently has to accommodate the U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming. The College World Series, which is held at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, will begin competition on Friday, June 15 and run through either June 25 or 26.
CWS to Have Instant Replay in 2012
[via NCAA.com ] The NCAA Playing Rules Oversight Panel approved an experimental instant replay rule that umpires can use to review specific calls at the 2012 Men’s College World Series.
