(OMAHA, NEB. June 22, 2005) – Approximately 1,000 tickets for Thursday’s game will be available through Ticketmaster following the conclusion of today’s 6 p.m. game, according to Herb E. Hames, vice president of College World Series of Omaha, Inc. “We will turn the Ticketmaster system on for fans to purchase Thursday tickets, probably an hour after the 6 p.m. game concludes so that fans won’t have to wait until 10 a.m. on Thursday to buy tickets at Rosenblatt Stadium box office,” Hames said. An additional 1,000 reserved seat tickets will be sold at the Rosenblatt Stadium box office starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday. Persons using Ticketmaster may order tickets on-line at www.ticketmaster.com (click here>) , or purchase them at selected Midwest Ticketmaster outlets that are open. Tickets purchased on the Internet through Ticketmaster will be available to pick up Thursday at Rosenblatt’s box office Will Call window. Reserve seat tickets for Thursday’s game cost $17 each and buyers will be limited to a maximum of six tickets per person. Anyone 24-months or older must have a ticket. Handicapped seating will be sold at the stadium’s Will Call window based on availability. Championship Game Tickets Available ThursdayReserved seat tickets for Championship Games 1 and 2 on Saturday and Sunday will go on sale Thursday, June 23, at 10 a.m. Central Daylight Time at Rosenblatt Stadium box office. Approximately 1,000 reserved seat tickets for those games will be available through the stadium box office and another 1,000 tickets will be available through Ticketmaster. Additional tickets may be available on the day of each Championship Game, depending on the number of tickets returned by teams that have been eliminated or from other sources. Individuals may charge tickets by phone at (402) 422-1212, or use Ticketmaster on-line at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets purchased on the phone or on the Internet through Ticketmaster will be available for pick up at Rosenblatt’s box office Will Call window. A list of Ticketmaster outlets is available on the College World Series of Omaha, Inc., Web site at www.CWSomaha.com. Championship Game tickets are $24 for reserve seats and $30 for box seats with a four ticket limit per person. Anyone 24-months or older must have a ticket. Handicapped seating will be sold at 10 a.m. at Rosenblatt Stadium’s Will Call window while supply lasts. |
