(OMAHA, NEB. June 21, 2006) – Approximately 2,500 reserved seat tickets will be available for sale in the event of a Thursday game(s), according to Herb E. Hames, ticket chairman of College World Series of Omaha, Inc. “If Cal State Fullerton wins today’s 4 p.m. game, there will automatically be at least one game on Thursday,” Hames noted. “The same applies if Rice loses its game to Oregon State this evening.” “In the event of a Thursday game, we will turn the Ticketmaster system on so fans can purchase reserve seat tickets online within one hour after we know there will be a game. That way, fans won’t have to wait until 10 a.m. on Thursday to buy their tickets at Rosenblatt Stadium box office,” Hames said. “Approximately 1,000 reserve seat tickets will be available through Ticketmaster following the conclusion of the game.” An additional 1,500 reserved seat tickets will be sold at the Rosenblatt Stadium box office and Ticketmaster outlets starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday in the event of a game that day, Hames said. No tickets will be sold at Rosenblatt Stadium Wednesday night. Persons using Ticketmaster may order tickets on-line at www.ticketmaster.com, or purchase them at selected Midwest Ticketmaster outlets that are open. Tickets purchased on the Internet through Ticketmaster will be available to pick up Thursday at Rosenblatt’s box office Will Call window starting at 10 a.m. A list of Ticketmaster outlets is available at the CWS of Omaha, Inc., Web site (CWSomaha.com). Reserve seat tickets for Thursday’s game cost $18 each and buyers will be limited to a maximum of six tickets per person. Anyone 24-months or older must have a ticket. Handicapped seating will be sold at the stadium’s Will Call window based on availability. |
