(OMAHA, NEB. June 21, 2007) – Reserved seat tickets for the NCAA® Men’s College World Series® Championship Games 1 and 2 will go on sale one hour after the end of tonight’s 6 p.m. game between North Carolina and Rice, according to Herb E. Hames, ticket chairman of College World Series of Omaha Inc. Approximately 1,000 tickets will be available through Ticketmaster, Hames said. Individuals may charge tickets by phone at (402) 422-1212, or use Ticketmaster online at www.ticketmaster.com . Tickets purchased on the phone or on the Internet through Ticketmaster will be available for pick-up at Rosenblatt’s box office Will Call window, which will open at noon both Saturday and Sunday. A list of Ticketmaster outlets is available on the College World Series of Omaha Inc. Web site at www.CWSomaha.com . Approximately 1,300 reserved seat tickets for Saturday and Sunday Championship games will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Rosenblatt Stadium box office. The box office will open at noon both Saturday and Sunday to handle Will Call pickups and the sale of team tickets that are returned. “If a third Championship Game is played on Monday, June 25, tickets will go on sale through selected Ticketmaster outlets one hour following Championship Game 2 on Sunday, June 24,” Hames noted. “Championship Game 3 tickets will also be sold at the Rosenblatt Stadium box office and Ticketmaster outlets on Monday beginning at noon.” Championship Game tickets are $25 for reserve seats and $31 for box seats with a four ticket limit per person. Anyone 24 months or older must have a ticket. Handicapped seating will be sold at noon at Rosenblatt Stadium’s Will Call window while supplies last. Any tickets purchased at the Rosenblatt Stadium box office will be cash or check only. General admission tickets can be upgraded to reserved seat tickets at Rosenblatt Stadium’s box office on Friday for Championship Games 1 and 2, with a limit of four tickets upgraded per person. General admission tickets can be upgraded to reserved seat tickets by paying the $16 difference in price between the general admission ticket valued at $9 and the reserved seat ticket valued at $25. “We would encourage fans to check at the Rosenblatt Stadium box office for team ticket returns during the Championships,” Hames added. College World Series of Omaha Inc. is a non-profit organization and the local organizing committee for the annual NCAA Division I Championship Baseball College World Series. This year’s event concludes June 24 or 25 with the final Championship Game. |
