(OMAHA, NEB. June 20, 2007) – Approximately 2,500 reserved seat tickets are available for sale for the NCAA® Men’s College World Series® game (or games) on Thursday, according to Herb E. Hames, ticket chairman of College World Series of Omaha Inc. “The University of North Carolina’s win today means there will be at least one game on Thursday at 6 p.m.,” Hames noted. “If Oregon State University loses this evening, there will be two games on Thursday at 1 and 6 p.m.” “Approximately 1,000 reserved tickets will be available to purchase through Ticketmaster online or through selected Ticketmaster outlets one hour after the end of today’s 6 p.m. game,” Hames said. “That way, fans won’t have to wait until Thursday to buy their tickets at the Rosenblatt Stadium box office.” In addition, approximately 1,300 reserved seat tickets will be available at the Rosenblatt Stadium box office on Thursday for any games that are played that day, Hames said. The Rosenblatt Stadium box office will open at 10 a.m. if games at both 1 and 6 p.m. are required. If only one game at 6 p.m. is played, the Rosenblatt Stadium box office will open at noon. No tickets will be sold at Rosenblatt Stadium Wednesday night. Persons using Ticketmaster may order tickets online at www.ticketmaster.com, or purchase them at selected Midwest Ticketmaster outlets that are open. Tickets purchased on the Internet through Ticketmaster will be available to pick up Thursday at Rosenblatt’s Will Call window, which will open the same time as the box office. A list of Ticketmaster outlets is available at the CWS of Omaha Inc. Web site (CWSomaha.com). Reserved seat tickets for Thursday’s game cost $18 each and buyers will be limited to a maximum of six tickets per person. Anyone 24 months or older must have a ticket. Handicapped seating will be sold at the stadium’s Will Call window based on availability. Approximately 1,000 tickets will be available through Ticketmaster, Hames said. Individuals may charge tickets by phone at (402) 422-1212, or use Ticketmaster online at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets purchased on the phone or on the Internet through Ticketmaster will be available for pick-up at Rosenblatt’s box office Will Call window on game day. A list of Ticketmaster outlets is available on the College World Series of Omaha Inc. Web site at www.CWSomaha.com . “If a third Championship Game is played on Monday, June 25, tickets will go on sale through selected Ticketmaster outlets one hour following Championship Game 2 on Sunday, June 24. Championship Game 3 tickets will also be sold at the Rosenblatt Stadium box office and Ticketmaster outlets on Monday beginning at noon,” Hames said. Championship Game tickets are $25 for reserve seats and $31 for box seats with a four ticket limit per person. Anyone 24 months or older must have a ticket. Handicapped seating will be sold at noon at Rosenblatt Stadium’s Will Call window while supplies last. Any tickets purchased at the Rosenblatt Stadium box office will be cash or check only. General admission tickets can be upgraded to reserved seat tickets at Rosenblatt Stadium’s box office on Friday for Championship Games 1 and 2, with a limit of four tickets upgraded per person. General admission tickets can be upgraded to reserved seat tickets by paying the $16 difference in price between the general admission ticket valued at $9 and the reserved seat ticket valued at $25. "We would encourage fans to check at the Rosenblatt Stadium box office for any late team turn-backs during the Championships,” Hames added.
