2012 Ticket Information Coming Soon
Information regarding tickets for the 2012 College World Series will be available soon. As the CWS enters its second year at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, there will be increased level of ticket availability through many NCAA approved outlets. Though there are still a few details to be finalized, we are pleased to let you know that there again will be an advanced sale for reserved tickets.
Kara Cook Hired to Internship Position
College World Series of Omaha, Inc., today announced the hiring of Kara Cook to its annual spring sports management internship. Cook, who graduated from Purdue University with a BA in Communication, will assist in the overall management of CWS of Omaha, Inc.’s, role at the 2012 College World Series.
National Anthem Performers Can Now Apply for 2012
Applications are now being accepted for singers and musicians who would like to perform the National Anthem during the 2012 NCAA® Men’s College World Series®, according to Katie Karmazin, National Anthem coordinator. March 23 is the application deadline.

2012 CWS Season-Ticket Holder Renewals Mailed
Season-ticket renewal notices were mailed on Monday, December 19, 2011, for the 2012 NCAA Men’s College World Series. Payments are due in our office, or paid online, no later than 5:00 p.m. (CST) on Wednesday, February 1, 2012.
2012 College World Series will Host Opening Ceremonies on Thursday, Games Begin Friday
The 2012 NCAA Men's College World Series will begin play one day earlier than it recently has to accommodate the U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming. The College World Series, which is held at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, will begin competition on Friday, June 15 and run through either June 25 or 26.
CWS to Have Instant Replay in 2012
[via NCAA.com ] The NCAA Playing Rules Oversight Panel approved an experimental instant replay rule that umpires can use to review specific calls at the 2012 Men’s College World Series.
South Carolina Claims Back-to-Back College World Series Titles, Winning 2011 Crown
[via gamecocksonline.com] The South Carolina Gamecocks rode the stellar pitching of Michael Roth to defeat the Florida Gators, 5-2, and sweep the best-of-three College World Series Championship Series Tuesday night at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha in front of an announced crowd of 26,721.
