NCAA® Men's College World Series - Omaha, Nebraska

The 64-team bracket provides for 16 four-team double elimination Regionals; and eight two-team, best-of-three Super Regionals, with the eight winners advancing to Omaha for the NCAA Men’s College World Series.

In 1999, the National Collegiate Division I Baseball Championship expanded from a field of 48 teams to 64. The champions of all 29 NCAA Division I conference automatically qualify for the championship, eliminating the need for play-in competitions. The remaining 35 teams will be selected at-large based on NCAA Bylaw 31.3.3 and the Rating Percentage Index (RPI). The Division I Baseball Committee will also consider regular season conference standings and/or conference postseason competition.

The expenses of the teams that participate in the Men’s College World Series (travel, hotel expenses, meals, etc.) are paid from the proceeds generated by the Series itself.
