National Anthem Performers

The top 40 applicants who applied to perform the National Anthem at the 2009 College World Series were invited to audition at Rosenblatt Stadium for a panel of judges on Saturday, April 4. Seventeen finalists were selected. Here is this year's roster of performers and their scheduled appearances (all Central Standard Time):

The Men’s College World Series of Omaha, Inc., began holding formal auditions in 1995 because of a growing interest in performing the National Anthem. Musicians and singers from throughout the Midwest compete each year to perform before an average of more than 20,000 people who typically attend each College World Series game.
