NCAA® Men's College World Series - Omaha, Nebraska

Fan Fest is a FREE, fun-filled interactive area. Here fans will experience the thrills, excitement and spirit of college baseball and other NCAA sporting events while learning about the Corporate Champions and Corporate Partners who support the NCAA Championships.

Longtime fans of the NCAA Men's College World Series will notice several new NCAA activities in the Fan Fest area located just southwest of the Rosenblatt stadium during Opening Celebration on June 12.

The Fan Fest features batting cages, speed pitch booths, interactive games from a variety of NCAA sports, photo opportunities, autograph sessions, food, prizes and the greatest selection of Men's College World Series merchandise available anywhere. New activities will be highlighted by a miniature Home Rune Derby Field which will be built to replicate Rosenblatt stadium. Other new activities will include a CWS historical timeline, a locker room display featuring jerseys of all eight participating teams, and other interactive areas.

In addition, face painters, baloon artists, an inflatable bounce house, bungee run, and other family freindly elements will be available free of charge on Opening Celebration Day only.

The Full day of activities starts at 9am when open team practice sessions start inside Rosenblatt Stadium. Autograph sessions begin one-half hour after each team practice with free Rawlings baseballs for the first 60 young fans at each session.

Actor and singer Mitchel Musso will headline this year's Road to Omaha Jam during the Opening Celebration starting at 7:30pm. Musso's debut single, "The In Crowd," is currently being played on Radio Disney.

Opening for Musso at 6pm will be The Broadcast, a new Omaha band, which recently released its debut album on iTunes entitled, "Yeah, That Just Happened." The free family-oriented concert is in the southeast parking area of Rosenblatt Stadium.

Following the concert, activities will move inside Rosenblatt Stadium where the Lincoln Sport Parachute Club (http://www.skydivespc.com/) will parachute onto the playing field while displaying flags of each team. The Opening Ceremonies will also include a flag team which will form an arch of flags through which participating teams and coaches will walk as they are introduced, an awards ceremony and the always popular fireworks finale.
