Shame on the CWS TV announcer who just said that it was "refreshing" that the U. of Texas Longhorns weren't in the finals this year. Texans are proud of TCU's advancing to the CWS, but that doesn't detract from our loyalty to the Longhorns.

The talent level at the college world series is unmatched - I especially love to watch the pitching. Truly the greatest sporting event bar none!!!

Go Clemson!!! 8)

I was looking forward to seeing the games as promised on ESPN or ESPN2, but they are on neither. Folks, that is disgraceful. Thanks for nothing. Baseball fans have been totally dumped on - look and see what's on instead of what was PROMISED.

I do wish the series was carried as well on national media, or internet as other big time college events...for fans total disapointment....

Watching the best college baseball and experiencing the wonderful atmosphere at Mecca (Rosenblatt Stadium).

I wonder what the ratio of "business" people to baseball players (and (legitimate) college baseball enthusiasts) was/is on the committee to kill Rosenblatt?

Let's hope these people aren't selected to determine the fate of other landmark stadiums - Wrigley, Fenway, etc.

With all this rain in Omaha it looks like even the Good Lord isn't happy with the CWS moving from Rosenblatt Stadium!!! We're really going to miss coming to the CWS and can't understand why everything has to be so corporate. It's just so sad.

The competition and excitement of the CWS and two weeks of great collegiate baseball. The thrill of the victory and the effort and disappointment in defeat

Finding a parking place in the neighborhood, buying a ticket on the street for the last two-three games, the crowds, the outside entertainment, making new friends in the stands, and cheering on whoever has earned the right to be there 'til the end...I miss Omaha...but still faithfully watch the games each year from my new hometown in FL.

It's true...it won't be the same not being at Rosenblatt. The fans are what makes the CWS great though and I too hope that we can keep it great no matter where the games are being played. I fear it becoming to corporate and having more rules being downtown. But I will :love the CWS no matter what! The energy and crowd is what makes me come back every year! There's nothing like it!

As much as I wish that the series could remain at Rosenblatt, I think that the atmosphere of the new stadium depends solely upon the fans. It is up to us to make new memories there and to not let it become "corporate". We need to allow ourselves to make the new stadium another tradition that will go down in history. But, no matter what, Rosenblatt will ALWAYS be the true home of the CWS, and any true CWS fan will never forget that.

Cocks back after a 6 year absence but what a time to make to back for the last year at Rosenblatt. The experience is priceless and the people of Omaha make this event so hope location won't affect that too much!!

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!

Going to games from 1997-2004, the CWS and Rosenblatt is the only experience in baseball that takes me back to my childhood.

Parks today are too corporate.

The people, the fans, the atmosphere are all things baseball fans should experience.

ROSENBLATT! GA fans and an overall good time watching great college baseball. The wonderful atmosphere of the people around the stadium. I'm sure going to miss it all. We've been attending since we were assigned to Offutt and keep coming back even after we left Offutt. Sad that this will be it.
