|National Anthem Auditions|
Thank you for your interest in performing the National Anthem at the 2013 College World Series. The application deadline for 2013 has passed and we are no longer accepting applications.
Please complete the National Anthem online application form. As part of your application, you must submit one a cappella rendition (with no voice enhancements or background music) of the National Anthem either by submitting a music file or by sending in a CD recording. Studio quality recordings are not necessary. Because of space limitations, groups larger than 22 individuals are discouraged from applying. Finally, due to the large number of applications we receive, you are limited to applying either as a soloist or as a duo or group.
Applications must be completed and music files must be submitted or CD recordings must be received at the office of College World Series of Omaha, Inc. located at 5010 Dodge Street, Omaha, NE 68132 no later than 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2013. No late entries will be accepted. If you would like to submit a music file, please ensure your approved
media files (i.e. mp3 or mp4 music/audio file, YouTube video, etc.) are
clearly labeled. If you choose to send in a CD, please clearly label it and the cover. Please note that CDs will not be returned.
Following the application deadline, a panel of judges will review all the submissions. All applicants will be notified of their status by email no later than March 20. The top 30 applicants will be asked to audition live at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha on Saturday, April 6, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Central Time. All individuals listed on the application must be available on April 6 to audition and only those that audition live will be eligible for advancement. No alternate date will be offered. Seventeen finalists will be selected to perform at the 2013 College World Series.
Unfortunately, if the guidelines listed above are not followed completely, the applicant will be automatically disqualified.
