CWS National Anthem Auditions Open to the Public at TD Ameritrade Park
Thirty semifinalists will compete for 17 finalist spots to perform the national anthem during the 2014 NCAA Men's College World Series (CWS). The auditions are open to the public.

WHERE:
TD Ameritrade Park Omaha. Please use Gate 1 at the corner of 13th and Cuming Streets. In the event of inclement weather, auditions will move to the stadium concourse. Street parking is available near the entrance.

WHEN: Saturday, April 26.  News media covering the auditions should arrive promptly at 8:30 a.m. Auditions will move quickly and take only a few minutes for each participant.  

WHO: This is the live audition for the semifinalists. A panel of judges chose the 30 vocalists, musicians and musical groups from more than 100 applicants from Nebraska, Iowa, Alabama, California, North Dakota and Tennessee based on recorded a cappella renditions of the national anthem. Finalists include:

  • BEEN THERE Barbershop Quartet, Bellevue, Neb.
  • Creighton Prep Chamber Choir, Omaha, Neb.
  • Kaitlyn Hova, violinist, Omaha, Neb.
  • Mark Lindquist, soloist, Fargo, N.D.
  • Shaun Miller, electric guitarist, Omaha, Neb.
  • Brandi Petersen, news anchor/reporter, Omaha, Neb.
  • Pflug Family Singers, Omaha, Neb.
  • Pink Ladies, girls choir, Nebraska City, Neb.

WHY: Judges will choose 17 finalists to perform during the 2014 NCAA Men's College World Series, which begins Saturday, June 14, and runs through June 24/25.
