The Road to Omaha Run Online Registration is Open to Public

The 5K Run/Walk is Set for Sunday, June 25

 Registration for the 7th Annual Road to OmahaTM Run is open to the public at www.ncaa.com/cws.


The baseball-themed 5K allows runners and walkers to tread where college baseball legends run – TD Ameritrade Park Omaha – is presented by the NCAA and College World Series of Omaha, Inc. All proceeds go to the Omaha Parks Foundation and are used to enhance Omaha’s public parks system. Last year nearly 750 people participated in the event.

The event is the leadoff to Championship Finals week at the 2017 NCAA Men’s College World Series. The scenic route begins at Lewis and Clark Landing on the Omaha Riverfront and includes a lap around the warning track at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha with all runners displayed on the video board. All pre-registered participants will receive a custom-designed performance t-shirt. New this year, all race finishers will receive a signature race medal, featuring the iconic Road to Omaha statue.

The 5K Run/Walk begins at 8 a.m.

Pre-registration is highly encouraged. Packet pickup for pre-registrants is Friday, June 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. or Saturday, June 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge Plaza, 705 Riverfront Drive. In person registrations will be accepted at packet pickup.

Male and female winners of the overall, 18 and under, and Masters categories will receive two tickets to Game 2 of the CWS Finals, Tuesday, June 27. Age group winners will receive College World Series mementos.
