What other activities are offered during the College World Series?
There are a number of events that surround the CWS. For a more detailed list, please visit ncaa.com/cws.
- The NCAA hosts its annual Fan Fest presented by Capital One located in Lot C and on Mike Fahey and 12th Streets, which plays host to many interactives, including Home Run Derby and Speed Pitching.
- Friday, June 13 is the Opening Celebration Day. On this day, there will be many free activities, including player autograph sessions on the concourse level, team batting practice starting at 9:00 a.m. and the in-stadium Opening Ceremonies, starting about 8:30 p.m. The Opening Ceremonies celebrate each team and all the student-athletes that have made it to the CWS, all of which concludes with the best fireworks show Omaha has to offer.
- Sunday, June 22 is the Road to Omaha 5k Run/Walk. Funds raised during the 5k will benefit Omaha Parks Foundation.
