Getting Around Omaha

Whether it's getting to Rosenblatt Stadium, a hot shopping spot, or a fun family outing, it's easy to get around in Omaha.

ImageOmaha's street system is built on a grid with Dodge Street (Highway 6) as the main north/south dividing line.

Numbered streets run north/south and start at the Missouri River on Omaha's east side.

Addresses are identified by the number of blocks north or south of Dodge Street. For example, 2500 S. 48th would be approximately 48 blocks west of the river and about 25 blocks south of Dodge Street.
