OMAHA---The game times and pairings for the first two days of the Men’s College World Series have been announced. The 62nd MCWS will be played at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha from June 14-24/25. The first game on Saturday is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. (CT) and features No. 4 national seed Florida State (54-12) and Stanford (39-22-2). Saturday’s second game pits No. 8 national seed Georgia (41-23-1) against No.1 national seed Miami (Fla.) (52-9), and is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. (CT) The doubleheader on Sunday features Fresno State (42-29) vs. No. 6 national seed Rice (47-13) at 1 p.m. (CT), and No. 7 national seed LSU (48-17-1) squaring off against No. 2 national seed North Carolina (51-12) at 6 p.m. (CT) The losers of Saturday’s two games will play one another at 1 p.m. (CT) on Monday, while Saturday’s winners face off at 6 p.m. (CT) Monday. The losers of Sunday’s games will play each other at 1 p.m. (CT) on Tuesday, while Sunday’s winners meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. (CT) The winners of the two brackets will play best-of-three championship finals, with the first game set for 6 p.m. (CT) on Monday, June 23. The second game is scheduled for 6 p.m. (CT) on Tuesday, June 24, while the third and deciding game (if necessary) is slated for 6 p.m. (CT) on Wednesday, June 25.
